For individual users and companies planning to change the operating system to Microsoft Windows 7, Acronis company specialists have prepared a brief guide, to help make safe and rapid migration without losing data.

During, When Windows Vista users can migrate to Windows 7 without problems, transferring from Windows XP requires careful planning, because this action involves reinstalling all the applications.

Acronis has prepared a list of seven good practices for system upgrade:

1. Create a backup copy of the operating system currently used in the form of a disk image (disk imaging). If you have problems installing Windows 7, disk image will allow to easily restore the old operating system.

2.
