Efficient network solutions with ZyXEL

ITCare, a company engaged in IT consulting for network operators, network infrastructure, modernized in two Silesian telecom operators, deploying eight switches XGS-4528F ZyXEL. Thanks to this operation networks of both companies have grown in functionality, reliability and security.

ITCare company, ensuring the highest floor of telecommunications services, has made the modernization and adaptation and offers a provider network and Multiplay Protonet to the ever increasing market demands, which are inherent to the growing number of Internet users and the amount of shared media.

Implementation in companies and Multiplay Protonet

Conducted by ITCare implementation aimed at increasing the capacity of backbone networks and to provide redundancy in the critical areas, where sometimes run aggregation customers. Until now, the infrastructure was based only on gigabit Ethernet, which meant that at peak times and increased data throughput was missing. It was therefore necessary to introduce a new solution to increase the throughput of the network backbone for 10Gbit Ethernet and could offer the possibility of connecting new users. In such switches the selected ZyXEL XGS-4528F, which were used as aggregation nodes and inter-node (in groups of up to 250 clients) in the optical fiber infrastructure operators. Experts ITCare switches deployed in both the “core”, if and distribution network, so you do not only increased efficiency and reliability of infrastructure, but also increased its security floor.

Future Plans

In the near future ITCare also plans to test other substitutes ZyXEL family of solutions SetTopBox, thereby cooperating with the company, the provider of a wider range of services such as Triple-Play (Internet, telephony, television).
